Ingredients

Juice Base
  • 6 cups cranberry juice (unsweetened or lightly sweetened)
  • 3 cups orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice (about 4 limes)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
Fizzy Components
  • 2 cups ginger ale (chilled)
  • 1 cup club soda (chilled)
  • 1 cup light rum or vodka (optional) For an alcoholic version
Garnishes
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries (for garnish)
  • 1 medium orange (thinly sliced)
  • 1 medium lime (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • Ice (large blocks or cubes)

Method

Preparation
  1. In your punch bowl or pitcher, pour in the cranberry juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, and lime juice.
  2. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Add 1/2 cup simple syrup, stirring and tasting. Add up to 3/4 cup if you prefer sweeter punch.
  4. Cover and refrigerate the base for 30 minutes to let the flavors marry.
  5. Right before serving, stir in the chilled ginger ale and club soda.
  6. If making a boozy version, add 1 cup light rum or vodka and stir gently.
  7. Add orange and lime slices, fresh cranberries, and mint leaves to the bowl.
  8. Add large ice blocks or cubes to keep the punch cool without diluting.
  9. Ladle into glasses and enjoy.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic punch, omit the rum/vodka and boost ginger ale or sparkling water. Store any leftover punch without soda in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
