Ingredients

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • grill or grill pan
  • wooden skewers
  • tongs

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken pieces and toss until evenly coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the honey mustard sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and water until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has a golden char on the outside.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the grilled chicken skewers with the honey mustard sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the marinade. Ensure the wooden skewers are soaked to prevent burning on the grill.
