Homemade Watermelon Lemonade

  1. Place the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth to create fresh watermelon juice. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove pulp, if desired.
  2. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Pour in the cold water and stir to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar, if necessary.
  4. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice for a refreshing drink.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a sweeter drink, increase the sugar. You can also substitute honey or agave syrup for a natural sweetener.
