Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth.
- Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and pureed strawberries to the bowl. Mix until well incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Drop small dollops of strawberry jam over the batter and gently swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- While the brownies are cooling, prepare the frosting. In a mixing bowl, beat the powdered sugar, softened butter, cream cheese, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of milk to achieve your desired frosting consistency. If using, add a few drops of pink food coloring and mix until the color is uniform.
- Once the brownies are completely cool, spread the creamy frosting evenly over the top.
- Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy your delicious strawberry brownies!
Notes
